Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are recorded promptly and correctly.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing and payment monitoring.
- Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing accurate financial data.
- Communicate effectively with team members and vendors to address any financial inquiries or issues.
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks or similar applications.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote environment.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
