Scale our impact by connecting NGOs with the talent they need
For Good Measure is a social impact collective connecting young professionals with meaningful projects at NGOs. We've just completed our first successful pilot, researching what nature conservation NGOs need and launching a real project with a team making a difference.
Now we want to scale. Test our model in new sectors, start more projects, connect more talented people with meaningful work.
That's where you come in.
Find new opportunities: Start research projects in new NGO niches. Conduct interviews, discover what problems they face, identify if we can build solutions.
Build relationships and services: Connect with NGOs, understand their needs, develop service proposals that solve their problems.
Assemble teams: Recruit young professionals from our community to work on projects. Bring them in during research, build the team, launch the project.
Ensure success: Quality control once projects are running. Check in with teams and clients, keep things on track.
Help build the foundation of For Good Measure: You will be a part of the core team of For Good Measure. Meaning we expect you to help with making the foundation better by supporting funding applications and create ways in which we can scale further.
- You want to make a meaningful difference and build something new.
- You're independent, proactive, take initiative without waiting for instructions.
- You're good at building relationships with NGOs and new people. You have some experience with outreach, sales, or relationship building (formal or informal).
- You can handle ambiguity. Structures and strategies will change as we figure out what works.
- You're collaborative, keen to share ideas and learn from others.
- Available for client calls during business hours.
You're not joining an established organization, you're helping build the core of For Good Measure alongside the founders, other business developers, and community manager. You'll develop real skills in NGO sector knowledge, acquisition, and setting up teams. We are constantly growing and adapting, meaning you can shape how we work and the role you fulfill.
Compensation: Working on For Good Measure core activities is voluntary. We're applying for funding and we hope to one day be able to compensate for everyone’s work, but we're not there yet.
Time commitment: ~8 hours per week for core work, flexible.
Location: Ideally Netherlands-based, start within the next few weeks, remote and flexible hours. You'll work with the For Good Measure core team (other business developers, community manager, founders).
