Role Responsibilities
- Design and evaluate preclinical studies linking molecular mechanisms to disease-relevant outcomes
- Select appropriate experimental systems including in vitro, ex vivo, and animal models to support translational research
- Develop biomarker strategies that connect target engagement with clinical response
- Interpret preclinical datasets to guide decision-making and refine mechanistic hypotheses
- Assess safety signals, immunogenicity risks, and biological drivers of unexpected experimental outcomes
- Contribute to early clinical program design including dose selection, patient stratification, and endpoint selection
- Apply quantitative pharmacology approaches such as exposure-response analysis and PK/PD modeling
- Support statistical planning, interim analysis design, and evidence-based development decisions
- Advanced academic qualification in pharmacology, pharmaceutical sciences, quantitative biology, biostatistics, or related biomedical fields
- Industry experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or contract research environments
- Direct experience supporting programs from late preclinical stages into early clinical development
- Strong expertise in interpreting complex biological and pharmacological datasets
- Familiarity with translational biomarkers, pharmacokinetics, and clinical study design principles
- Ability to develop clear scientific recommendations based on incomplete or evolving data
- Strong communication skills for presenting technical insights to cross-functional teams
