About The Role
As a Software Engineer at Clipboard Health, you will play a vital role in designing, developing, and maintaining our core healthcare staffing platform. Qualifications
- Proficiency in building complex web or mobile applications using TypeScript, React, and Node/NestJS
- Experience developing, monitoring, and supporting production services
- Strong understanding of service-specific integration testing, E2E testing, and unit testing
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS (ECS, Terraform)
- Experience with database technologies including MongoDB, Postgres, and Redis
- Knowledge of mobile development frameworks such as Ionic/React and Dart/Flutter is a plus
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills in high-ownership, low-structure environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills suitable for remote collaboration
- Customer empathy and a drive to create user-centric solutions
- Experience with trunk-based development and continuous deployment workflows is preferred
- Startup experience or experience in high-growth environments is advantageous
- First-principles thinking and innovative problem-solving approach
- Develop and deliver high-quality, scalable backend services using Node/NestJS and frontend features with React and TypeScript
- Create reusable components and utilities for web and mobile applications, including Ionic/React and Dart/Flutter
- Own the full software development lifecycle, from problem definition and design to deployment and support
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and customers to understand real-world needs and implement effective solutions
- Enhance tooling, libraries, and developer experience in partnership with the DevX team to improve global engineering productivity
- Participate in daily stand-ups, asynchronous discussions, and documentation to ensure team alignment across time zones
- Contribute to a customer-centric approach by fixing bugs, addressing technical debt, and brainstorming new features
- Own and maintain the systems you build, including participating in on-call rotations to ensure platform reliability
- Support continuous integration and deployment processes, leveraging automation and best practices
