Title - Backend Developer/Data Engineer

We are looking for a Backend Developer to join a team responsible for building and managing systems that handle large-scale financial transactions, reconciliation, and regulatory reporting.
You will work with scalable backend and data platforms that ensure accurate payment flows and financial compliance. The role focuses on modernizing existing solutions, building modular platform services, and enabling the finance organization with reliable, traceable systems.
You will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and finance teams in an environment where complex financial processes are transformed into clear technical solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Design and develop robust, traceable backend systems for financial transactions
- Build modular platform services for reconciliation, reporting, and payment fees
- Contribute to modernizing legacy platforms
- Work with cloud-native solutions (preferably GCP)
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product and finance stakeholders
- Ensure high code quality, testing, and documentation
Required Profile
- Strong background in backend or data engineering (T-shaped profile)
- Experience with cloud-native development (preferably Google Cloud)
- Solid understanding of system design, data structures & algorithms
- Experience with transactional or financial data flows
Nice to Have
- Experience with Spark, Flink, or Beam
- Strong Java backend experience
- Background in payments, reconciliation, or financial platforms
