We are looking for a results-oriented Parts Manager who understands how to run a modern, efficient, and profit-driven parts department that supports both retail and fixed operations growth.
About the Role:This is not a maintenance role — it’s a performance-driven leadership position. You will be responsible for optimizing inventory, improving fill rates, supporting service throughput, and building a scalable parts operation aligned with Kia’s continued growth in all segments.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage all aspects of the Parts Department operations
- Develop and execute inventory strategies aligned with service demand and sales growth
- Maintain optimal stock levels across ICE, hybrid, and EV parts categories
- Drive strong collaboration with Service to maximize technician efficiency and bay productivity
- Grow wholesale parts business with body shops and independent repair facilities
- Manage vendor/OEM relationships and ensure timely procurement
- Monitor pricing strategy, margins, and departmental profitability
- Train, develop, and hold team members accountable to performance standards
- Ensure clean processes for ordering, receiving, returns, and inventory accuracy
Success will be measured on:
- Inventory Turnover – Strong annual turns with balanced stock levels
- Fill Rate – High same-day and next-day availability
- Obsolescence Control – Active reduction and management of aged inventory
- Gross Profit Margin – Meeting or exceeding dealership targets
- Backorder Rate – Minimized through forecasting and planning
- Service Support Efficiency – Enabling technician productivity and reduced downtime
- Wholesale Growth – Expansion of external parts sales channels
- Inventory Accuracy – Tight control and audit performance
- Proven experience as a Parts Manager in a dealership environment (Kia or import brand experience is an asset)
- Strong understanding of high-volume parts operations and fixed ops integration
- Demonstrated ability to manage and improve KPIs
- Leadership mindset with the ability to build and manage a strong team
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with dealership management systems (DMS)
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
