The Talent Acquisition Partner (TAP) oversees recruitment across multiple positions, with a focus on commercial coatings professionals. This role collaborates closely with hiring managers, TA leadership, and HR teams. The TAP assesses workforce needs and designs effective sourcing strategies to ensure the timely delivery of high-caliber

candidates. Leveraging knowledge of applicant tracking systems, talent sourcing methods, employer branding and candidate engagement, the Talent Acquisition Partner plays a key role in attracting, hiring, and retaining top talent.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Drive end-to-end recruitment process, fostering strong partnerships with hiring managers and serving as an advocate for candidates.
  • Leverage data insights and monitor market trends to improve TA accuracy
  • Proactively source talent, review applications, and assess candidates for role alignment and cultural fit.
  • Represent Cherry Coatings as a brand ambassador, ensuring candidates experience a welcoming and engaging journey.
  • Provide data and feedback to guide hiring decisions in collaboration with managers and senior leadership.
  • Provide operational support to TA team including interview scheduling, agenda management, travel arrangements, and other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Support overall People Operations team with team initiatives.


Key Competencies:

  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and collaboration tools (Teams, Zoom, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies, online recruiting platforms, and employment law.
  • Ability to meaningfully engage all levels of the business including C-level executives
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Ability to create engaging digital recruiting campaigns and employer branding initiatives.
  • Collaboration with HR teams to develop offer details, secure approvals, and stay aligned with HR updates.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Adept at building strong, lasting relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 4 years of proven success in talent acquisition.
  • Strong expertise in candidate sourcing strategies, best practices, and advanced search logic/strings.
  • Proficient in talent acquisition and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, scheduling platforms, and industry-standard applicant tracking systems (experience with Paycor preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with hiring managers throughout the recruitment lifecycle, including intake meetings, candidate presentations, feedback collection, offers, and onboarding.
