A fast-growing private equity manager with an expanding team, Ardan has completed nine platform transactions and more than 30 add-on acquisitions in the last seven years. Ardan is headquartered in South Florida, with additional locations in Boston, Chicago and New York.


Job Summary:

Ardan is seeking an Associate / Senior Associate that will provide critical day-to-day support of the firm’s deal execution, sourcing and portfolio tasks. The Associate / Senior Associate will support the Investment Team in finding, evaluating, growing and monitoring investments in healthcare and life sciences software and data companies. The Associate / Senior Associate will be an integral member of the Investment Team, working daily with Ardan’s mid-level and senior investment professionals, and executive partners / senior advisors. The ideal candidate will have an outstanding work ethic, strong background and deal/project experience in healthcare IT / Life Sciences Tech, and experience in investment banking, management consulting or private equity. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform in-depth due diligence and analysis on potential investments using deal materials
  • Produce detailed investment memos and materials that support key investment decisions
  • Build and maintain complex financial models, valuations, forecasts and bespoke analyses
  • Conduct detailed sector and company-level analysis, including primary and secondary research
  • Complete investment sourcing efforts through sub-sector analysis, Company landscaping and profiling, outreach and industry events, CRM management, and other
  • Drive continuous analysis and monitoring of portfolio company performance and reporting
  • Dynamically utilize AI tools and applications to enrich analyses, create dynamic and repeatable outputs, automate firm processes/workflows and accelerate time-to-completion
  • Prepare for and participate in interactions with external parties, including management teams, intermediaries and co-sponsors; provide support during management meetings
  • Undertake Ardan Growth Platform initiatives with portfolio companies, including day-to-day contribution to sales and marketing, technology, M&A, operations and other workstreams
  • Own, sustain and progress key firm resources and processes, including deal evaluation tools, investment pipeline, databases and other assets
  • Regularly engage and interface with investment team members, as well as the firm’s Executive Partners and Senior Advisors


Qualifications & Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a leading college or university, with strong academic achievement and a major in business, finance, economics, engineering, math or related fields with quantitative rigor
  • 2+ years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, or private equity
  • Work experience & deal/project experience in Healthcare IT, Pharma Tech, or both
  • Demonstrated interest and passion for healthcare, technology and healthcare technology
  • Outstanding analytical skills, problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Exemplary business writing and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation methods, accounting and financial statement analysis
  • Experience using AI tools and LLMs (e.g.; Claude, ChatGPT, NotebookLLM, etc.), to intelligently solve problems and drive workflow efficiency, is a significant plus
  • Highly motivated self-starter with genuine desire to learn & take on a high degree of responsibility
  • Ability to “run” with complex and sometimes ambiguous assignments, and thrive in an entrepreneurial atmosphere with limited supervision
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to manage multiple workstreams and perform in a fast-paced deal environment
