Overview: The Associate Project Manager – International Technology supports the delivery of regional technology initiatives to support restaurant ops, digital platforms & enterprise strategy. The preferred location for this individual is Mexico City, Mexico.
Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Execution
- Guide technology projects across the Region, contributing to planning, implementation and post-launch activities
- Work under the direction of the Head of Technology, who provides guidance, final approvals and oversight of timelines & budgets.
- Prepare and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders including IT, Operations, Digital, Marketing & Finance
Technology Implementation
- Guide deployment of restaurant and enterprise technology systems including POS, CRM, loyalty, digital ordering, and back-of-house platforms
- Ensure seamless technology rollout for new restaurant openings and market expansions
- Partner with vendors and internal support teams to deliver high-quality implementation and training
Compliance
- Ensure all project activities adhere to corporate governance, cybersecurity, and Regional compliance standards
- Manage change control processes, documentation, and post-implementation reviews.
- Track and report progress against KPIs and communicate status to regional leadership
Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with business partners, franchisees, and regional teams to align technology solutions with operational needs
- Act as a liaison between project teams and global technology functions
- Support vendor evaluation and contract management in collaboration with procurement and legal teams
What We Expect From You
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or related field (PMP or Agile cert preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in project or program management, preferably within restaurant, or hospitality technology environments
- Proven success delivering multi-market technology projects across Mexico
- Strong understanding of PM methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
- Familiarity with data privacy, cybersecurity, and GDPR compliance
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and vendor partners
- Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficient in English and Spanish (for LAC Markets) (written and spoken)
Expected Work Location (Field): It is expected that you will primarily perform work at Wendy's Restaurants or to other field locations as designated by the Company. When not working at a Wendy's location, you are permitted to work remotely. Changes to work location arrangements are subject to managerial approval and business needs.

Pay Range: MXN 500,000.00 - MXN 850,000.00 Annually
