Associate Managing Director, Relationship Management
This is a fully remote position located in either the Netherlands, Norway, Denmark or the UK. The ideal candidate will reside in one of these countries.

Position Overview
Reporting directly to the Director of Relationship Management, the Associate Managing Director will work with the Managing Directors as well as both senior management and members of the investment team in developing new institutional relationships for the Firm, as well as managing a number of existing client relationships. This position will focus on a select number of countries in Europe (such as the Netherlands, Denmark, Norway and UK), and the candidate will be located locally. The individual will represent the Firm as an experienced and knowledgeable investor of quantitative equity strategies to prospects, consultants, and clients with a strong desire to help the Firm build its EMEA business.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Work to cultivate relationships with institutional investors with a strong emphasis on consultants, OCIOs, sovereign wealth funds, financial institutions, and pension schemes
- Identify and work with a group of institutional prospects at a high level to determine how the Firm’s equity investment strategies can meet their investment objectives
- Service a select number of the Firm’s existing institutional client relationships in Europe, with the goal of continuing to strengthen the relationship and identifying cross-selling opportunities
- Clearly present the Firm’s quantitative investment approach and carry the Firm’s message in a professional manner
- Review written responses to RFPs to clearly convey the Firm’s investment approach and customize responses to reflect your knowledge of the prospect
- Assist in the launching of new institutional strategies and funds
Skills and Knowledge Required
- A Master’s degree / advanced degree or CFA preferred
- 8-12 years of professional industry experience, specifically business development with a strong quantitative background
- Demonstrated ability to close institutional equity management business
- Ability to obtain meetings and develop deep relationships with institutional investors
- Understand the needs of large institutional investors and strategize how to convert them into equity mandates
- Highly organized, detail oriented, self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Excellent team player who can develop strong internal relationships across departments
- Seeks to develop relationships with prospects and industry participants
- Responds quickly and thoroughly to follow up requests
- Strong understanding of quantitative equity management
- Crisp and clear written communicator
