We are seeking a part-time Artist Relations Manager - Vocalist Specialist to support our model training efforts by identifying, vetting, and onboarding high-quality vocalists. This fully remote role is a blend of creative talent evaluation and HR-style candidate management, ideally suited for someone with a sharp ear for vocal quality and the interpersonal skills to communicate our value proposition clearly and ethically. While remote, LA-based candidates are preferred due to proximity to many prospective vocalists. The role starts at 16 hours per week at $40/hour, with the possibility of evolving into a permanent position based on success.

Responsibilities
- Review audio submissions from vocalist applicants and assess for recording quality, effort, and vocal fit.
- Rank and prioritize candidates based on audio quality, genre alignment, and strategic demand.
- Schedule and conduct video interviews to evaluate applicant suitability and explain our licensing model.
- Coordinate remote recording sessions for selected candidates.
- Communicate our ethical approach to AI voice modeling and build trust with talent during the onboarding process.
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth handoff of approved vocalists for production and legal onboarding.
- Strong musical ear with the ability to evaluate vocal quality and genre fit.
- Familiarity with a broad range of music genres and cultural styles.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to explain licensing models and handle sensitive conversations around AI and art.
- Experience in talent acquisition, A&R, casting, or a similar role involving creative evaluation and candidate management.
- Comfortable working independently and remotely; ability to manage scheduling and follow-ups.
- Based in or familiar with the Los Angeles music scene is a plus.
