The focus is on. By effectively identifying and nurturing strategic partnerships, the Area Sales Manager contributes significantly to the company's growth and success in a competitive marketplace.

  • You will be part of the Benelux sales team, and you will be responsible for finding new dealers and distributors in the Netherlands.
  • Thanks to a proactive approach of the market and a thorough market analysis (competition, market trends, opportunities, …), you accelerate existing business, and expand networks, markets, clients.
  • You'll have the freedom to achieve your goals and work closely with the Country Manager Benelux to ensure your well-being and development.
  • You manage the sales process from start to finish. You'll spend most of your time on the road, with customers and in your home office, where you:


  • visit HoReCa dealers, typically regional dealers, to acquire them as customers and thereafter to develop the sales through expanding the number of different products, training them in the TEFCOLD digital world, making campaigns etc
  • visit cooling service companies to train them in TEFCOLD systems and products and inform them a cooperation with TEFCOLD can help them improve their business
  • provide quotations based on customer needs for refrigeration products and follow up on an ongoing basis
  • finding and visiting independent retailers in order to supply cooling equipment to them
  • go regularly to the Benelux HQ in Belgium (Sint-Truiden) into the office to participate in our team and district meetings, where we dive deeper into dealer collaborations, sales pipeline, order intake, your job satisfaction, etc.

  • You have a result-oriented and hands-on approach and you are driven to exceed targets and objectives.
  • You have a strong understanding of sales techniques, market dynamics, and distribution channels.
  • You are a tenacious and empathetic salesperson who takes pride in creating long-term relationships with customers and business partners.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • As this position is home-based, you are able to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.
  • You are willing to travel extensively within the Netherlands.
  • You obtained minimum a Bachelor Degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field and a proven track record in selling technical products.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and you have excellent oral and written knowledge of English.

Products are sold through dealers, both direct and via e-commerce, and direct to Brand Owners (Food producers, Drinks producer, Pet food etc.), retail and large HoReCa chains. Thanks to a streamlined supply chain process with adequate stocks and effective delivery, they can deliver faster than competition whenever the client has a need. The main USP thereby relates to supporting the business of the client by keeping their inventory costs low while increasing the size of their product portfolio and thereby their revenue.
