Area Sales Manager – Holland and Belgium


About Us:

To further strengthen our international presence, we are now looking for a dedicated and experienced Area Sales Manager to drive growth and build strong customer relationships in the Dutch and Belgian markets.


Position Overview:

As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the sales performance in your designated region and act as a brand ambassador for Maileg. You will identify new business opportunities, manage and grow relationships with wholesalers and retailers, and ensure that our brand is represented in line with Maileg’s standards and values. With a focus on long-term partnerships, quality representation, and commercial success, you will play a key role in expanding Maileg’s presence in Holland and Belgium.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales responsibility for the Dutch and Belgian markets
  • Identify, select, and onboard new wholesalers and retailers, including managing incoming inquiries
  • Follow up on partner compliance with Maileg’s brand guidelines, and close partnerships that do not meet standards
  • Drive organic growth with existing customers and build long-term relationships
  • Support and educate partners to ensure they represent Maileg as strong brand ambassadors
  • Prepare annual forecasts and budgets for your region and each account
  • Monitor sales performance and proactively secure targets – or take necessary action if adjustments are needed
  • Participate in selected trade shows – including stand setup, product presentation, and active sales during the event.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales – ideally within lifestyle, design, or children’s products
  • Solid understanding of the Dutch and/or Belgian markets
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Fluent in English – Dutch and/or French is a strong advantage
  • Self-driven, structured, and goal-oriented
  • Passion for aesthetics, quality, and storytelling
  • Ability to work independently while being a team player in an international sales organization
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently within the region

Work Location:

The position is based in the region (Holland and/or Belgium), and you will work from your home office and visit customers directly. You will be affiliated with our sales office in Herning (Denmark), which serves as your main team connection point.

Frequent travel within the region and to selected trade shows is required.
