What your day will look like:
Strategic Growth & Market Positioning
- Set and execute regional strategy to accelerate growth across product groups, with a strong focus on Security Center SaaS
- Build credibility and long-term market trust for a global, non-local brand; sharpen our DACH gotomarket in line with global objectives
- Use market intelligence and forecasting to guide strategic choices and resource allocation
- Provide empowering leadership that fosters collaboration, accountability, learning, and continuous improvement
- Maintain high engagement through change - create clarity, stability, and shared direction
- Coach team members to drive opportunities, build strong customer and partner relationships, and grow personally and professionally
- Equip teams with the processes, tools, and capabilities needed to thrive in a SaaS centric environment
- Build relationships with end users, integrators, consultants, and public sector stakeholders
- Identify emerging trends and differentiation opportunities; represent Genetec at key forums and events
- Champion SaaS transformation; balance near term performance with long-term evolution
- Communicate openly to ensure alignment and reduce uncertainty
- Collaborate with Marketing Communications on campaigns and events; partner with Product Marketing so market needs inform the roadmap
- Align closely with global teams in Paris and Montréal to bring market insight into company priorities
- Monitor competitive dynamics and regulatory developments; contribute to strategies that strengthen Genetec's position across mature and emerging segments
About you

Experience & Capabilities
- 10+ years of leadership experience in Sales, Business Development, or Market Strategy within the security industry. Experience in software or SaaS is a strong and important advantage
- Ability to build trust and credibility with customers, integrators, and consultants
- Comfortable navigating complex sales environments across diverse customer ecosystems
- Proven track record in leading and developing teams
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate strategy into tangible commercial outcomes
- Influential communicator with strong stakeholder management skills, including C-level
- Growth mindset with an entrepreneurial, hands-on approach when needed
- Willingness to travel within the region (up to :60%)
- Fluency in German and English
- Solid grasp of IT/CP infrastructure and networking fundamentals
- Experience with SaaS business models and associated change management
- Ability to conceive, implement, and manage complex solutions for global systems
