We’re looking for an Apprentice Development Lead for Europe, UK & Ireland. In this newly created role, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and supporting our apprentices and our apprenticeship programmes across Europe, UK & Ireland.

What You’ll Do

  • You will lead the day-to-day development of our apprentices across Europe. This will include the effective coaching and mentoring of apprentices through their programme.
  • You will manage the relationship with all of our apprenticeship training providers across the region. You will be responsible for government funding initiatives (i.e.: Government Levy’s).
  • You will implement an early careers engagement approach to facilitate a cohort feel to the programmes that bring early careers individuals together with shared goals, outcomes, and learnings (this includes a consistent and high-quality onboarding, a keep warm and induction programme for all apprenticeship starters across the region).
  • You will design, implement, and embed aggreko apprenticeship related guidelines and policies to support the consistent delivery of a best-in-class experience for our apprentices and their managers.
  • You will work closely with our recruitment and communications team to create an attraction, recruitment and education outreach strategy that is relevant and attractive to our audience.
  • You will implement an early careers engagement approach to facilitate a cohort feel to the programmes that bring early careers individuals together with shared goals, outcomes and learnings, including a consistent and high-quality onboarding, keep warm and induction programme for all apprenticeship starters.

You’ll Have The Following Skills And Experience

  • You will have proven expertise and experience of both designing and delivering apprenticeship programmes across the UK and Europe.
  • You will be able to demonstrate your coaching and mentoring skills.
  • You will have a good knowledge of apprenticeship standards and government initiatives and direction across the UK and Europe (this includes funding/levy options).
  • You will have strong commercial acumen and awareness of the role early careers plays in talent management and future proofing.
