About ONIT
ONIT is an emerging performance and lifestyle activewear brand preparing to launch in the U.S. Our mission is to create elevated gym and lifestyle pieces inspired by NYC training culture, discipline, and community. The brand blends minimal performance aesthetics with street inspired energy.
We are looking for a Freelance Apparel Graphic Designer to help develop original graphics and print concepts for our upcoming men’s and unisex capsule collection.
Responsibilities
- Design original graphics, slogans, and typography for apparel
- Develop print concepts and placements for pieces such as oversized T-shirts, shorts, joggers, and performance tops
- Create graphics aligned with ONIT’s bold, minimal, athletic aesthetic
- Prepare production ready artwork files suitable for screen printing, embroidery, puff print, or heat transfer
- Collaborate with the founder on creative direction and brand identity
- Ensure designs are unique, commercially viable, and suitable for activewear & lifestyle
Requirements
- Experience designing graphics for apparel, activewear, or streetwear
- Strong portfolio showcasing garment graphics and print work
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Understanding of print placements, garment scaling, and production methods
- Ability to translate brand concepts into clean, impactful designs
Preferred
- Experience working with fitness or activewear brands
- Knowledge of screen printing, puff print, embroidery, and garment printing techniques
- Interest in fitness culture and athletic apparel
If the collaboration goes well, there will be ongoing opportunities to work on future ONIT collections and additional design projects.
