Vālenz® Health is the platform to simplify healthcare – the destination for employers, payers, providers and members to reduce costs, improve quality, and elevate the healthcare experience. The Valenz mindset and culture of innovation combine to create a distinctly different approach to an inefficient, uninspired health system. With fully integrated solutions, Valenz engages early and often to execute across the entire patient journey – from care navigation and management to payment integrity, plan performance and provider verification. With a 99% client retention rate, we elevate expectations to a new level of efficiency, effectiveness and transparency where smarter, better, faster healthcare is possible.

About This Opportunity: As an Analyst (Provider Analytics), you’ll join a collaborative Analytics team that transforms complex provider datasets into clear, actionable insights. You’ll look into and solve issues with provider records, support client requests, and contribute to improving internal analytics tools and processes. If you're naturally curious, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is the role for you.

Things You’ll Do Here:

  • Analyze and reconcile provider datasets to identify in-network physicians and facilities, resolve data inconsistencies, and improve accuracy across systems
  • Investigate client- and team-submitted questions related to provider data, using platforms like Salesforce and collaborating with internal stakeholders to find solutions
  • Use tools such as SQL, Excel, and Databricks to translate raw data into insights and recommendations
  • Support ongoing efforts to enhance internal analytics workflows, tools, and documentation
  • Monitor data performance and quality trends, proactively identifying anomalies and areas for improvement
  • Contribute to strategic projects with high-quality analysis and a solutions-oriented mindset
  • Take ownership of tasks with minimal oversight while actively seeking opportunities to collaborate
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential duties.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

  • A natural curiosity and willingness to dive into complex data challenges
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality, accurate work
  • A collaborative, team-first mindset with the ability to work independently when needed
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and a drive to find clarity and results
  • Exposure to SQL and data analysis techniques, even in academic or internship settings
  • Proficiency in Excel (e.g., formulas, PivotTables, data organization)
  • Receptiveness to coaching and feedback, and a desire to grow
  • Accountability, follow-through, and a problem-solving mindset

A plus if you have…

  • Experience working with provider data or within a healthcare data environment
  • Exposure to Python, Spark, or Databricks
  • A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or related field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics)

Where You’ll Work: This is a fully remote position, and we’ll provide all the necessary equipment!

  • Work Environment: You’ll need a quiet workspace that is free from distractions
  • Technology: Reliable internet connection—if you can use streaming services, you’re good to go!
  • Security: Adherence to company security protocols, including the use of VPNs, secure passwords, and company-approved devices/software
  • Location: You must be US based, in a location where you can work effectively and comply with company policies such as HIPAA
