Job Title: AI Project Manager - Use Cases
Location: Remote (Belgium / Switzerland)
Type: Contract (6 months)
Responsibilities
- Partner with business units to identify high-impact AI use cases across the pharmaceutical lifecycle (R&D, clinical operations, PV, QA, RA, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Commercial).
- Build use cases and project manage the implementation and delivery for AI tools for teams globally.
- Lead structured use-case workshops, maturity assessments, ROI modelling, and business value analyses.
- Develop problem statements, user stories, and functional specifications for generative AI applications.
- Maintain an organisation-wide AI use-case pipeline, ensuring alignment with business strategy and technology roadmap.
- Own the full end-to-end delivery of AI projects (CoPilot rollout, LLM-powered tools, automation solutions, GenAI assistants).
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, risks, and stakeholder reporting.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including data engineers, AI/ML scientists, UX designers, cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, and business users.
- Serve as the subject-matter liaison between business and technical teams for Generative AI systems.
- Understand capabilities and limitations of CoPilot, GPT-based LLMs, vector search, RAG pipelines, prompt engineering and AI governance frameworks.
- Collaborate with enterprise architecture and data teams to ensure model security, compliance, and responsible AI implementation.
- Develop training materials, adoption strategies, communication plans, and user onboarding frameworks.
- Lead workshops to promote AI literacy, prompt engineering skills, and best practices for LLM usage.
- Measure success through KPIs, usage analytics, feedback loops, and continuous improvement cycles.
Ensure all AI implementations comply with:
- GxP expectations (where applicable)
- Data privacy (GDPR), cybersecurity, and ethics standards
- Responsible AI frameworks and audit requirements
- Document AI decision flows, risk assessments, and validation activities.
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Life Sciences, Business, or related field.
- Excellent project management skills: planning, risk management, stakeholder management, reporting.
Hands-on experience managing projects involving:
- Generative AI
- CoPilot / Microsoft 365 AI tools
- LLMs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, HuggingFace, etc.)
- Automation / NLP / AI-driven productivity tools
