AI Engineer/Architect who is an expert in applied AI you will build AI capability in enterprises through hands-on building and coaching. Shape high-value use cases, develop solutions, and drive real adoption.
Key Accountabilities
- Working closely with stakeholders and senior leaders, helping them understand the potential, and limitations of AI.
- You will plan, and run hands-on one to one and group sessions around AI.
- You will coach senior managers and their teams to demystify AI.
- Taking time to understand client challenges in their day to day work, and shaping how AI would support that
- Designing solutions for them that use readily available tools from CoPilot and Gemini, to Power Automate, and Google AI Studio.
- Developing advanced prompts, custom and MCP enabled GPTs, Gems and CoPilot agents, and simple agentic automation, co-created with senior leaders and other domain experts from our clients using appropriate tooling.
- You will plan and facilitate workshops.
- You will work with design colleagues to create materials and artefacts.
- You will write-up and articulate those use-cases, and the value associated with them, and work with more technical colleagues to formulate potential solutions.
- You will work with developer colleagues to help them deliver those solutions, using your what you have learned from working with the client’s domain experts to ensure that they will create the desired outcomes for the client, and bring the voice of the customer into the delivery team.
Experience & Skills
- 3+ years in consulting, or technology environments.
- Expert understanding of AI to a deep level, but able to translate this understanding into meaningful metaphors and mental models for those without that deep understanding.
- You will be an expert in practical AI. You will either be a certified AI engineer status or working your way towards it or vendor certification.
- You will have detailed and in-depth knowledge on AI concepts, latest tooling and developments, and underlying technical foundations and history.
- Proficient in producing high quality client facing documentation and materials with support from design colleagues.
- Strong understanding of prompt engineering.
- Strong understanding of customer lifecycle design, engagement frameworks, and value measurement.
- You will have immersed yourself in the world of AI, and soaked up every opportunity to make it work for you and others. You will have an extremely strong understanding of the wider industry, underlying tech, and working principles of the entire AI stack, and will have invested time in developing strong skills and competence in freely available AI tools. You will also be keenly aware of the risks and pitfalls of AI and be able to confidently mitigate those, and help others to do so.
