About The Role

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; 2-year degree preferred
- 1-2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a legal or professional office environment
- Minimum typing speed of 60 words per minute
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Strong organizational and proofreading skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and remain calm under pressure
- Attention to detail and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
- Assist with typing, transcribing, and revising legal documents and correspondence
- Coordinate meeting and travel arrangements, including creating detailed itineraries
- Prepare expense reports, reimbursement requests, and manage Chrome River responsibilities
- Support document management by saving and profiling pleadings and related documents
- Enter and revise billable time entries and prebills as required
- Organize legal notebooks, large mailings, and physical files efficiently
- Provide on-site support including mailing, copying, printing, and scanning documents
- Operate office equipment such as PCs, printers, copiers, and phones
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all business dealings
- Participate actively in team meetings, share updates, and contribute to workflow improvements
- Update project logs with pending and completed tasks
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors
- For Kansas City location: manage incoming mail, process USCIS filing fees, organize receipts, liaise with finance, and maintain physical case files
- Assist with special projects such as I-9 audits and procedural updates
- Ensure proper archiving and retrieval of case-related documents in collaboration with the information governance team
