About The Role
BioLogos is seeking a highly organized and conscientious Administrative Assistant to join our team. This fully remote role requires the ability to effectively manage administrative tasks, support organizational operations, and contribute to development and program activities. The Administrative Assistant will report directly to the Director of Operations and serve as a vital support to various departments within the organization. While this position is primarily remote, it necessitates occasional travel to Grand Rapids, MI, for errands, meetings, and organizational events. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for BioLogos’ mission to bridge faith and science. Qualifications
- Alignment with Christian faith and enthusiasm for BioLogos’s mission
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience as an administrative assistant, preferably in a non-profit setting
- Proficiency with Google Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with Zoom or similar virtual meeting platforms
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel 1-3 times per year
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and follow through effectively
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is a bonus
- Provide comprehensive administrative support, including answering phones and emails, scheduling meetings, and managing correspondence
- Coordinate mailings, shipments, and organizational documentation
- Assist with payroll processing, reimbursements, and maintaining financial records
- Prepare standard reports and support staff meetings and organizational events
- Support the development team by responding to donor inquiries, updating donor records, and maintaining the donor database
- Coordinate travel arrangements and meetings for fundraising and grant activities
- Assist program teams with event planning, documentation, and project management reminders
- Support monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) documentation processes
- Maintain accurate records of organizational activities and ensure compliance with internal processes
