- Provide administrative support to directors, division heads, and managers
- Assist in the development and monitoring of departmental budgets and procedures
- Conduct research and analysis on various departmental functions
- Coordinate special projects and studies as assigned
- Prepare clear and concise reports and documentation related to departmental effectiveness
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in public administration or business administration
- One year of experience in a responsible administrative capacity for a public agency
- Possession of a valid Class "C" California Driver's License
- Knowledge of public administration principles, budget management, and office automation software
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Master's degree in public administration
- Experience working with public agencies or in a governmental setting
- Familiarity with statistical and research methods
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Experience in preparing and analyzing departmental reports
