financecanada.ca is Canada's independent financial guide — a national platform connecting Canadians with verified local mortgage brokers, insurance agents, and investment advisors in their community.
We are a growing Canadian fintech media company looking for a sharp, organized Administrative Assistant to support our founding team as we build toward our October 2026 platform launch.
This is a remote, part-time contract role with potential to grow into a full-time position as the company scales.
What you will be doing:
— Supporting the founding team with day-to-day administrative tasks
— Managing email correspondence, scheduling, and calendar coordination
— Organizing and maintaining digital files and documentation
— Assisting with research tasks and data entry
— Coordinating between team members, contractors, and external partners
— Supporting content operations including proofreading and scheduling
— Helping prepare reports, presentations, and communications
What we are looking for:
— Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
— Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
— Comfortable working remotely and managing your own time
— Proficient in Google Workspace — Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Calendar
— Interest in personal finance, real estate, or Canadian financial markets is a plus
— Previous administrative or executive assistant experience preferred
— Based in Canada
