Role Description

This is a part-time, remote role for an Accounting Assistant. The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for supporting financial operations, managing bookkeeping tasks, maintaining financial records, and utilizing accounting software to process financial transactions. Additional responsibilities include assisting in the preparation of financial statements and providing support to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial policies and regulations.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Financial Statements preparation and review
  • Experience with Accounting Software and general understanding of Accounting systems
  • Strong knowledge and skills in Accounting and Finance
  • Hands-on experience in Bookkeeping
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
  • Prior experience in a nonprofit or a civic organization is a plus
