Position: Accounting Expert
Type: Hourly contract
Compensation: $50 - $80/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10 40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger reconciliations, and month-end close.
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Develop and implement budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Monitor cash flow, track expenses, and provide actionable financial insights.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve financial workflows and reporting processes.
- Create clear financial reports and communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong experience in accounting and financial management in a digital environment.
- Proficiency with Akaunting or similar cloud-based accounting platforms.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
