This is a REMOTE role on the EAST COAST (Eastern Timezone Only)
My client are a fast growing technology solutions company who are looking to bring in a tech-savvy accountant who combines strong traditional accounting skills with a passion for technology, automation, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the rollout of a new expense management platform
- Perform general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close activities
- Support multi-state tax complianceCollaborate with IT and business units on automation initiatives using Microsoft Copilot and other AI tools
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal control standards
- Work closely with cross-functional departments to ensure accurate and timely financial data flow
We are looking for:
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline is required.
- 3–7 years of accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting fundamentals.
- High proficiency with Excel, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft 365.
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or similar).
- Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred: Experience implementing or migrating to new financial systems (Microsoft Co-Pilot, Power Automate or similar AI Automation Tools)
Salary is open and competitive: $100,000 - $150,000 a year.
