Position: Accounting Expert (UK GAAP)

Compensation: $30–$60/hour

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Review and label financial documents according to UK GAAP standards to support AI training projects.
- Apply accounting principles and disclosure checklists to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with data science and product teams to interpret complex financial records and disclosures.
- Ensure all labeled data aligns with current UK GAAP guidelines and accounting best practices.
- Identify inconsistencies or errors in financial datasets and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide feedback on data models to improve AI learning and performance in financial analysis tasks.
- Document insights related to UK GAAP application to support future AI training and development.
Requirements
- Qualified accountant or auditor with practical experience working under UK GAAP.
- Strong familiarity with financial disclosure checklists and reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail in reviewing financial statements.
- Ability to apply accounting principles to real-world financial data.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for explaining technical accounting concepts.
