We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join the Estonian team for one of our clients (direct hiring)

- Higher education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience with Estonian accounting standards and local tax compliance.
- Strong practical knowledge of EU VAT regulations, including reverse charge mechanisms, intra-community acquisitions, and import VAT requirements.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage or similar).
- Fluent in English and Estonian; knowledge of Spanish and Russian is a plus.
- Self-organized, detail-oriented, and motivated to work in a fast-paced, international team environment.
- Manage daily bookkeeping and accounting operations in full compliance with Estonian financial regulations.
- Ensure all invoices and accounting entries are accurate, timely, and properly documented.
- Maintain clear, well-organized, and audit-ready financial records to support internal and external reviews.
- Oversee tax compliance processes, including preparation and submission of VAT returns and corporate income tax reports.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in inventory and supplies management, with solid understanding of IAS 2.
- Collaborate effectively with local and international teams across logistics, operations, and finance.
- Support accounting workflows related to inventory control and merchandising activities.
- Assist in strengthening internal controls and contribute to ERP implementation to drive automation and operational efficiency.
- Prepare and deliver regular financial reports and insights to the CEO and CFO to support strategic decision-making.
- Full-time remote work (Estonia-based), with flexible working hours.
