About the Role
We are hiring an Account Manager to join our Account Services team.
This is a client leadership role. You will be the primary contact for assigned clients and will guide projects from strategy through execution. You will lead communication, organize work internally and help clients understand what needs to happen, why it matters and how we will accomplish it.
You are not simply relaying messages between client and creative teams. You are managing the relationship, establishing strategies, plans, budgets, setting expectations and keeping momentum.
The right person is comfortable in a fast-paced agency environment with multiple clients, defined processes and accountability.
What You’ll Do:
Client Leadership
• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for clients
• Lead meetings, presentations and status calls
• Set expectations around timelines, scope and deliverables
• Guide clients through decisions and approvals
• Build trust and long-term partnerships
• Identify opportunities for additional work and growth
Strategy & Direction
• Translate client goals into actionable marketing strategies and plans
• Write clear briefs, provide direction and inspire internal teams
• Gather research and insights to support recommendations
• Ensure work aligns with brand positioning and objectives
Project Execution
• Coordinate with creative, digital, production and PR teams
• Manage schedules, approvals and deliverables
• Monitor scope and communicate changes proactively
• Document meetings and distribute action items
• Keep projects moving without requiring leadership intervention
Budget & Operations
• Track estimates, budgets and billing accuracy
• Coordinate approvals and change orders
• Maintain organization within the agency project management system
• Ensure projects are delivered efficiently and profitably
Growth & Business Development
• Grow assigned accounts through strong service and trust
• Support proposals and onboarding of new clients
• Participate in presentations and strategic discussions
Qualifications
Mandatory:
Previous experience working at a marketing, advertising, branding or creative agency.
• 4 – 6+ years agency account service experience
• Comfortable leading client calls and presentations
• Ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously
• Experience writing briefs and coordinating internal teams
• Strong organization and follow-through
• Ability to operate within structured processes and documentation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Google Workspace
• Experience with project management systems (Bonsai, Asana, Monday or similar)
Preferred:
• Experience with websites or integrated marketing campaigns
• Understanding of scopes, estimates and billing
