We are looking for an
Account Manager
to join our Team at Suunto. The location of this position will be in Sweden, preferably in the wider Stockholm area, working remotely.

The Role
We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Account Manager to drive the commercial performance of a defined customer portfolio in Sweden. You will be Suunto’s first sales representative based in the market and work in close collaboration with the Suunto Nordics team.
Your mission is to ensure strong, profitable growth through effective account management, year-round re-order business, and reliable demand planning.
This is a highly collaborative role: you will work closely with Marketing to plan and implement impactful sell-through actions across retail channels. You will also train and engage key customer-facing teams to strengthen product knowledge, advocacy, and in-store conversion.
This is a field-based role requiring travel at least two days per week within Sweden, with occasional travel to other Nordic countries.
Main responsibilities:
- Manage and grow assigned customer accounts, ensuring strong sales, profitability, and high-quality distribution
- Present Suunto’s product offering and drive continuous sell-in and re-order cycles
- Guide customers on assortment planning, pricing, demand, and commercial terms
- Monitor monthly performance across accounts and work closely with Marketing to plan and implement impactful sell-through activations (online & offline)
- Train and engage customer-facing teams to strengthen product knowledge, advocacy, and conversion
- Ensure consistent brand visibility and execution across all customer touchpoints
- Coordinate with internal teams and partners to secure accurate and timely deliveries
- Conduct regular business reviews and propose growth-oriented action plans
- Build strong, long-term and trust-based relationships with buyers, planners, merchandisers, and marketing counterparts
To succeed, you should exhibit the following skills and qualifications:
- Several years of experience managing customer accounts and building long-term business relationships within retail
- Ability to understand customer needs and tailor commercial solutions effectively
- Proven experience of strong negotiation and deal-closing skills
- Experience working closely with Marketing teams to align sales and activation plans and the ability to support or execute sell-through and marketing campaigns at account level
- Native-level Swedish and excellent English skills, both written and spoken
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and ability to handle customer challenges creatively
- Ability to collaborate effectively across functions (Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Product, Operations)
- Expertise and strong working knowledge of MS Office and Power BI tools
- Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- A passion for outdoor sports and/or consumer technology is an advantage
- Existing contacts with outdoor and sports retail customers are an advantage
