The Opportunity


We're hiring a Account Executive to drive new logo acquisition and expand Canvs' footprint across media, entertainment, streaming, and adjacent verticals. This is a full-cycle role — you'll own outbound prospecting, discovery, solution selling, and close, while handing off seamlessly to Customer Success for expansion. You'll report directly to senior leadership and operate with significant autonomy in a high-growth, PE-backed environment where your results have direct impact on the company's trajectory.


This role is for a hunter who thrives in complex, consultative sales cycles and can credibly position an AI/NLP platform to Insights, Research, and Marketing leaders at major brands and studios.


What You'll Do


  • Own and manage a full sales cycle from outbound prospecting through close, with average deal sizes ranging from $30K–$250K+ ARR
  • Build and execute multi-threaded outreach into target accounts across marketing insight teams, media networks, , agencies, and consumer brands
  • Qualify inbound pipeline, conduct deep discovery, and translate customer research and VoC challenges into compelling Canvs use cases
  • Develop account plans for named strategic prospects, engaging executive stakeholders across Insights, Research, Marketing, and Strategy functions
  • Accurately forecast pipeline and manage a CRM-disciplined sales process in Hubspot
  • Partner with Customer Success to identify expansion signals and support upsell motions within your book of business
  • Serve as a credible domain expert on AI-powered feedback analytics, emotional intelligence, and consumer research trends
  • Represent Canvs at industry events, webinars, and customer-facing engagements as a visible ambassador for the brand


What You Bring


Required

  • 3–7 years of B2B SaaS sales experience, with demonstrated success in a full-cycle AE role
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quota in a $30K–$250K ACV range
  • Experience selling AI, NLP, analytics, VoC, market research, or data intelligence platforms
  • Strong outbound mentality — you build your own pipeline and don't rely solely on inbound leads
  • Skilled at multi-threaded enterprise selling across Insights, Research, and Marketing personas
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; able to navigate complex buying committees and present at the executive level
  • CRM discipline and pipeline hygiene — you manage Salesforce like a business, not a reporting tool


Preferred

  • Experience selling into marketing teams, media, entertainment, streaming, OTT, or adjacent verticals
  • Familiarity with the consumer insights and market research ecosystem (agencies, research firms, brand teams)
  • Experience at a startup or growth-stage company with a lean sales structure
  • Exposure to MEDDIC, Challenger Sale, or similar structured sales methodologies
