The Role

We’re looking for a results-driven Account Executive to own and grow our marine and offshore vertical, covering clients in commercial diving, offshore services, maritime inspection, and port infrastructure.

You’ll take over a mature territory with strong existing demand, but also be expected to proactively generate new business and uncover opportunities. The ideal candidate brings B2B sales experience in industrial equipment or marine technology, thrives in a flexible environment, and is excited to have a direct impact on a global, scaling business. Experience in the Offshore/Maritime industries is considered a plus.


Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities using Historic Hubspot data, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, industry research, and your existing network and industry knowledge.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Own and manage client relationships throughout the sales cycle—from initial contact through to close and handoff to the customer success team.
  • Technical Proposals: Assist in preparing technical bids, quotations, and proposals in collaboration with engineering and product teams.
  • Product Demonstrations: Deliver tailored discovery calls and live product demonstrations to communicate the value of Deep Trekker’s solutions in marine environments ( ~50% travel required).
  • CRM & Forecasting: Maintain accurate records and pipeline visibility in HubSpot, contributing to forecasting and sales reporting.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless handovers and customer satisfaction.
  • Market Feedback: Act as the voice of the customer, sharing insights and trends to inform strategy, product roadmap, and sales enablement.


What We’re Looking For

  • 2–5 years of proven sales experience in a B2B industrial setting (marine, subsea, offshore, or adjacent industries preferred).
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and drive opportunities forward.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to engage in technical conversations and relate to end users.
  • Results-oriented, proactive, and confident, navigating complex buying processes.
  • Located in North America or Europe, with flexibility to operate across time zones.


Nice to Have

  • Experience selling to maritime, defence, offshore, or port authorities.
  • Familiarity with ROVs, inspection tools, or marine robotics.
  • Technical aptitude to understand complex products and guide customers as a consultant/sales engineer.
