Account Executive (Junior and Senior)

We’re looking for Account Executives to join us at MediaValet. We’re hiring at both the Junior and Senior levels, depending on experience and demonstrated impact in B2B sales environments.

As an Account Executive, you’ll be responsible for driving new business by identifying, engaging, and closing prospective clients. You’ll lead the full sales cycle—from discovery and product demos to negotiation and close—while championing the value of our industry-leading digital asset management (DAM) platform. Your work will directly impact MediaValet’s growth and help our customers unlock the full potential of their digital content.

This role reports to the Director of Sales and works closely with our Customer Success, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to acquire new clients and achieve or exceed revenue targets.
  • Conduct lead qualification and proactive pipeline management to consistently move opportunities through the funnel.
  • Own accurate forecasting and maintain disciplined CRM hygiene.
  • For more complex opportunities, confidently navigate multi-stakeholder buying groups and longer sales cycles.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with prospects and customers, deeply understanding their needs and aligning solutions to meet business goals.
  • Present tailored demos and articulate the value of MediaValet’s platform in a compelling and consultative manner.
  • Engage decision-makers across functional and executive levels, positioning MediaValet as a trusted partner.

Closing & Collaboration

  • Negotiate and close deals that deliver value for both the client and MediaValet.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support successful onboarding and long-term client success.
  • Contribute to a high-performance sales culture by sharing insights, best practices, and continuously refining your approach. Senior-level candidates may also contribute to deal strategy and process improvement initiatives.

To Be Successful In This Role, You

  • Have a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding B2B sales targets.
  • Bring 3+ years of B2B sales experience (5+ years preferred for senior-level consideration), ideally within a SaaS environment.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Have a strong ability to understand customer pain points and map solutions accordingly.
  • Are comfortable managing multiple opportunities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Have experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and take a data-driven approach to sales.
  • Experience navigating complex sales cycles and engaging executive-level stakeholders is considered a strong asset.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B sales; additional experience and a history of exceeding targets may be considered for senior-level placement.

Compensation: $80,000.00 – $130,000.00 CAD / year + up to 100% on-target bonus eligibility
