This opportunity is for a skilled 2D animator to contribute to a student short film in the analog horror genre. The project involves animating a specific scene with a style inspired by Doctor Nowheres, and a sample image will be provided for visual reference. The work is fully remote and must be completed before December 12th. This is a single-job engagement, but there is potential for future collaboration on similar projects.

Responsibilities

• Animate a designated scene for a short film, adhering to the analog horror aesthetic
• Reference provided visual samples to match the desired animation style
• Collaborate remotely with the project lead to ensure creative alignment
• Deliver high-quality animation assets within the agreed timeline

Skills And Requirements

• Proven experience in 2D animation, preferably with a portfolio showcasing horror or atmospheric work
• Proficiency in industry-standard animation software (e.g., Adobe Animate, Toon Boom Harmony, or similar)
• Strong ability to interpret visual references and replicate specific styles
• Excellent attention to detail and storytelling through animation
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines for a remote project
• Availability to complete the project before December 12th
