Remote work requires the ability to learn how to use new digital platforms quickly and troubleshoot problems independently.
It certainly does not mean, your were one of the geeks in high school - nor does it mean that your the one who has to have the latest gadget...
However, each company uses different platforms, communication tools (ex: Slack), applications etc. ( ex: Salesforce) - almost always, Excel. Thus, it helps to be familiar with them but does not require you to be an expert.
