Take time to get comfortable with the many digital platforms and apps used to connect employees.
No one is expecting you to be able to code but people expect you to deal with the companies tech tools or at least ask how they work.
Look at these 5 tech tools used in (almost) every remote job!
1. Video conferencing tools - such as Zoom, Skype, and Google Hangouts.
2. Collaboration tools - such as Slack, Asana, and Trello.
3. File-sharing tools - such as Dropbox, Google Drive, and Box.
4. Time-tracking tools - such as Toggl and Clockify.
5. Communication tools - such as Slack, Skype, and email.
There are a lot more out there but just wanted to share a few - in case your thinking about starting to work remotely and want to get a head start on how to use them!
