Job Description:

As a Data Engineer at Dentsu Data (DD) is a data and analytics consulting company with approximately 20 employees that serves as a Center of Excellence and delivers services to customers throughout Dentsu. We are now looking for someone who is passionate about developing integrated data systems. The assignment is both about creating solutions for the dentsu group and advising customers on the best solution for them and then assisting in the implementation.

You will work together with the client teams across all dentsu agencies to support our clients' development in martech and data. The role involves a consultative role towards some of Sweden's largest companies and of course varies between different projects and customers. Our goal is to match consultants in the best way possible with assignments for development and innovation.

  • Technical Expertise: Serve as the technically knowledgeable person in customer teams. Advise on the best data solutions in an educational manner.
  • Implementation: Drive the implementation of data platforms. Develop solutions for data visualization.
  • Consultation: Work consultatively with some of Sweden’s largest companies. Support clients’ development in martech and data.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with client teams across all Dentsu agencies. Match consultants with assignments for development and innovation.
  • Data Systems Development: Develop integrated data systems for the Dentsu group and its customers. Assist in the implementation of these systems.
  • Educational Role: Break down and present technical solutions to colleagues and customers based on their level of knowledge. Be the technically knowledgeable person in customer teams, who can take responsibility for and advise on the best solution in an educational way. Drive the implementation of data platforms and develop solutions for e.g. data visualization.


Who are you:

  • General understanding of marketing, tech and data, interest in predictive analytics.
  • Experience in programming in Python.
  • Accustomed to SQL.
  • Basic knowledge in the ETL (Extract Transform Load) process.
  • Habit of data visualization in dashboards (Power BI).
  • Data analysis/basic statistical competence.
  • Experience/knowledge in Cloud (Google Cloud Platform & BigQuery, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or similar)
  • Very good language skills in both Swedish and English.
  • Experience with platforms such as Google Ads, DV360, Adform, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Salesforce, etc. is meritorious.


As a person, you are a self-motivated problem solver with a good ability to prioritize between tasks and projects. You are curious and have an interest in new technical solutions and opportunities to automate and streamline. You like to work in teams and have a pedagogical ability to break down and present technical solutions to both colleagues and customers based on their level of knowledge.
