Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for a Cyber Security Analyst. The role involves monitoring and protecting networks and applications, analyzing potential threats, and implementing cybersecurity strategies to safeguard sensitive data. Day-to-day tasks include performing malware analysis, identifying and mitigating security risks, and supporting efforts to enhance overall IT security policies and practices.
Qualifications
- Experience with Application Security and Network Security methodologies
- Strong knowledge of Cybersecurity frameworks and best practices
- Proficient in Malware Analysis and tools related to threat detection
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills to assess security systems and identify threats
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are a plus
- Familiarity with the logistics and shipping industry is an advantage
